On November 28th, a delegation from China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group’s Baiyinnuoer Mining Co., Ltd., after attending the Shanghai International Engineering Machinery Show (bauma China) the previous day, proceeded to Yi’an United Mining for an on-site inspection of the intelligent tunneling jumbos (underground rock drilling robots). They experienced firsthand the allure of intelligent technology in action.
In the control room of Yi’an United Mining, the team members from China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group’s Baiyinnuoer witnessed the entire operation process of the underground rock drilling robots. With just a click of the mouse, the rock drilling robots swiftly responded and autonomously carried out drilling operations. The large screen in the monitoring room displayed clear, real-time footage of the drilling work, making remote monitoring a reality.
After the drilling was completed, the delegation from China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group personally entered the mine tunnels to inspect the performance of the rock drilling robots. Following a thorough examination, the observers unanimously agreed that the robots’ drilling precision met the expected requirements. The excellent performance and outstanding results of the robots brought the inspection tour to a perfect conclusion.
This on-site inspection not only provided the team from China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group’s Baiyinnuoer Mining Co., Ltd. with an in-depth understanding of the practical operations of intelligent tunneling jumbos but also offered valuable insights for the intelligent construction of mines.
